The Book of Lamentations--an unlikely, grim book to cover over the past month--but I've found delight in staring at God's wrath and comfort in an honest look at a level of hardship I couldn't possibly relate to. I love that God doesn't seek to market himself as the times or fickle crowds dictate. He is holy. He does not change. His way is truth--in every shade of color, from light to dark and from saturated to dim.
Counting the blessings of messengers with the courage to preach the Word in its entirety. Here's to pastors and preachers like these--unsung heroes awaiting their ultimate commendation!
